Hedley Leads the Roll Call with Six Nods

Toronto, ON (May 21, 2008) - The nominations for the 19th Annual MuchMusic Video Awards were announced today and Canadian pop rockers Hedley lead the pack with six nominations. Following closely are Belly and illScarlett with five nods each. The 2008 MuchMusic Video Awards airs live on Sunday, June 15 at 9 p.m. ET.
As the exciting countdown to the MMVAs approach, fans can check out muchmusic.com/mmva to watch all nominated videos, read up-to-the-minute news on performers and presenters, blog posts about the nominees, and download nominee ringtones.
Fans can also vote now via online or text for the previously announced People’s Choice Awards. MuchMusic’s plugged-in viewers select the winners in three categories either online at muchmusic.com/mmva or by texting “MMVA” to 299299.
